Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 28 perches, more or less, being Lot 17 as shown on a plan deposited in Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 38615, being part Allotment 220 of Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland. (S.O. plan 32807.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of November 1951.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in the City of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 8·8 perches, more or less, being Lot 68 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 15125, being part of Rural Section 1101.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of November 1951.

Declaring Lands in Otago and Southland Land Districts, Vested in the Otago Education Board as Sites for Public Schools, to be Vested in His Majesty the King

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation declare that any school-site or part of a school-site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in His Majesty; and thereupon the school-site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in His Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Otago Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in His Majesty the King, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 29, Block IV, Table Hill Survey District, being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 28, folio 68 (Otago Registry): Area, 10 acres, more or less. (S.O. plan 1630.)

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 14·6 perches, more or less, being part Section 55, Block I, Huiroa Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 138, folio 74 (Taranaki Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/492A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
