Regulation Under the Government Life Insurance Act 1908

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of October 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Government Life Insurance Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council:—
(1) Doth hereby direct that the following tables be no longer used in the issue of new policies:—
(a) The tables designated B, VI, and VIP in the Second Schedule to the Order in Council made under the said Act on the 19th day of December 1908:
(b) The table designated B in the Schedule to the Order in Council made under the said Act on the 24th day of June 1918:
(c) The table designated B in the Schedule to the Order in Council made under the said Act on the 26th day of March 1930:
(d) The table designated B (Special) in the Schedule to the Order in Council made under the said Act on the 3rd day of May 1934:
(e) The tables designated B (Special), B, and C in the Schedule to the Order in Council made under the said Act on the 28th day of November 1945:
(2) Doth hereby approve and direct the use of the tables set forth in the Schedule hereto:
(3) Doth hereby order that this present Order in Council shall take effect on and after the 1st day of January 1952.

Yearly and single premiums in respect of assurances under the above tables for ages, for terms of premium payment, and for terms of policy intermediate between those respectively above specified shall be graduated progressively in accordance with the premiums set out above. A premium payable half-yearly shall be half the respective yearly premium increased by 2½ per centum. Yearly premiums may be made payable by monthly or four-weekly instalments, which shall be a proportionate part of the yearly premium increased by 2½ per centum.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Taradale Town Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of November 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for ornamental gardens:
And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Taradale Town Board:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests the control of the said reserve in the Taradale Town Board.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in the Taradale Town District containing by admeasurement 1 rood 4·8 perches, more or less, being Lot 6, on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier under No. 8143, being part Suburban Section 55, Meeanee. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950.

Vesting a Reserve in the Cardrona Rabbit Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of November 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for Rabbit Board buildings:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Cardrona Rabbit Board:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Cardrona Rabbit Board, in trust, for a site for Rabbit Board buildings.
