HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 8
Pipiriki–Raetihi.—All that road or portion of road in the Waimarino County, commencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 1, Block IX, Pipiriki Township, Block X, Rarere Survey District and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at the western boundary of the Raetihi Borough, being a distance of 16 miles 20 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plans P.W.D. 135098, 135099, and 135108, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured violet.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Raetihi Borough, commencing at the western boundary of the said borough, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and then in an easterly direction via the Pipiriki–Ohakune Road and Seddon Street, and terminating at its junction with the National Park–Wanganui Main Highway, being a distance of 1 mile 20 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135109, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured violet.
Raetihi–Waiouru.—All that road or portion of road in the Raetihi Borough, commencing at its junction with the National Park–Wanganui Main Highway at the north-western corner of Section 288, Borough of Raetihi, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction along the Pipiriki–Waiouru Road, and terminating at the eastern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 37 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135109, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington. and thereon coloured green.
Also all that road or portion of road in the Waimarino and Rangitikei Counties, commencing at the eastern boundary of the Raetihi Borough, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction along the Pipiriki–Waiouru Road via Ohakune, but excluding that portion in the Ohakune Borough, and terminating at Waiouru Township at its junction with the Waiouru–Turangi Main Highway at a point between Lot 23, Block II, and Lot 11, Block IV, Waiouru Township, being a distance of 21 miles 47 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plans P.W.D. 135099, 135100, 135101, and 135111, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Ohakune, commencing at the south-western boundary of the said borough, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction along Ohakune–Raetihi Road and thence in an easterly direction along Clyde Street, and terminating at the eastern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 2 miles 17 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135110, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Tohanga Junction–Ohakune.—All that road or portion of road in the Waimarino County, commencing at the junction with the National Park–Wanganui Main Highway approximately 3½ miles south of Horopito at the northern corner of Section 33, Block III, Makotuku Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction to the north-western boundary of the Ohakune Borough, being a distance of 5 miles 2 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135099, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured burnt sienna.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Ohakune, commencing at the north-western boundary of the said borough, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction along Tohanga Road, Mangawhero Terrace, and Clyde Street, terminating at its junction with the Raetihi–Waiouru Main Highway at Miro Street, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135110, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured burnt sienna.
Ohakune Station.—All those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Ohakune, commencing at the junction with the Tohanga Junction–Ohakune Main Highway at Awatea Street, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction along Awatea Street, Mangawhero Terrace, and Thames Street, and terminating at its junction with Rimu Street at the Ohakune Railway-station, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135110, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Waiouru–Bulls.—All that road or portion of road in the Rangitikei and Waimarino Counties, commencing at the junction of the Raetihi–Waiouru Main Highway and the Waiouru–Turangi Main Highway at a point between Lot 23, Block II, and Lot 11, Block IV, Waiouru Township, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly, south-easterly, and then south-westerly direction via Taihape, Utiku, Mangaweka, Hunter ville, and Greatford, but excluding those portions in the Borough of Taihape and the Town Districts of Mangaweka and Hunter ville, and terminating at the eastern boundary of the Bulls Town District, being a distance of 70 miles 7 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plans P.W.D. 135101, 135102, 135103, 135104, 135105, 135106, 135107, and 135111, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Borough of Taihape, commencing at the north-eastern boundary of the said borough, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction along Main Road, and terminating at the southern boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 2 miles, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135112, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Mangaweka Town District, commencing at the north-western boundary of the said town district, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction along Main Trunk Road, and terminating at the western boundary of the said town district, being a distance of 1 mile 76 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135113, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Hunter ville Town District, commencing at the northern boundary of the said town district, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction along Murimutu Road, Porewa Road, and Milne Street, and terminating at the southern boundary of the said town district, being a distance of 1 mile 16 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135114, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Bulls Town District, commencing at the northern boundary of the said town district at the junction of Wilson Street and High Street, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via High Street, and terminating at its junction with the Wanganui–Levin Main Highway, being a distance of 29 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 135115, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

Management Wharf Vested in Croixelles Road Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of October 1951
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vest in the Croixelles Road Board (hereinafter called the “ Board,” which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) the management of the wharf at Okiwi Bay, Croixelles Harbour, as shown on plans marked M.D. 9215 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such vesting to be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) The vesting of the said wharf is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the vesting shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of November 1951.
(3) The annual sum payable by the Board to the Minister shall be 1s. payable on demand.
(4) The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister for that purpose.
