Subject to Order in Council 4476 exempting Brown’s Road frontage from the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a condition as to building-line.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 17·5 perches, more or less, being part of the land shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 28693; and part Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 30590; both being parts Allotment 11 of Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/1/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Amending a Proclamation Setting Apart Land as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 7th day of December 1933 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 21st day of December 1933, at page 3403 (hereinafter referred to as the said Proclamation), an area of land containing 13,515 acres, more or less, being provisional State forest No. 103 (Gazette, 1922, page 1311—ordinary provisional State forest, 220 acres) and provisional State forest No. 104 (Gazette, 1922, page 1311—national endowment provisional State forest, 13,295 acres), situated in Blocks IX, X, XIII, XIV, and XV, Kaeo Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Omapere Survey District, was set apart as permanent State forest land in terms of section 18 of the Forests Act 1949:
And whereas errors were made in the Schedule to the said Proclamation and it is desirable that these errors be rectified:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 21 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the said Proclamation by omitting from the said Schedule the words “13,515 and 13,295” and substituting the words “14,618 and 14,398” respectively in lieu thereof; and I do hereby further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as from the date on which the said Proclamation was intended to take effect.

Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the South Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, containing by admeasurement 3,695 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, and described generally as follows:—
All those areas situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Rangitaiki Lower Survey District, and Block V, Waimana Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2,091 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Ruatoki C 48 and C 61 Blocks and being formerly Ruatoki 2a 10 and parts Ruatoki 2c 1, 3b, and 3c 9 Blocks.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1,604 acres and 10 perches, more or less, being Section 2 and part of Sections 1 and 3, Block IV, Rangitaiki Lower Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plans Nos. 39/9 and 39/10, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (South Auckland plans S.O. 21198 and S.O. 34000 and M.L. 15030A.)

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 2 roods 6·9 perches.
Being Lots 7 and 8, D.P. 4361, being part Section 94, Block III, Wairio Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 155, folio 103 (Southland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of November 1951.
