Land Taken for a Recreation-ground in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of August, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 13·5 perches. Being Lot 18, D.P. 36999, being part Allotment 96 of Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in the City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 978, folio 2 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of August, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil-conservation and river-control purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of August, 1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 30·7 perches. Being Lots 23 and 24, D.P. 9797, and Lots 14 and 15, D.P. 10060, and being also part Section 92, Hutt District.

Situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 496, folio 17, and Volume 484, folio 62 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of August, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 30 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of August, 1951.

Being part Rural Section 30312x.

Situated in Block VIII, Spaxton Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 8251.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134352, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 25·6 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 1095, being part Reserve 625, Town of Hokitika (Borough of Hokitika), and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 48, folio 118 (Westland Land Registry).

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 rood 13·34 perches.

Being Lots 6 and 7, D.P. 6393, being part Sections 11 and 12, Block XIX, Ohakune Village Settlement, and being part of the land formerly comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 526, folio 255 (Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in the Borough of Ohakune.
