Declaring the York Farm Settlement (Barry) Road in the Inglewood County, to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of August, 1951
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

All that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Inglewood County, known as Barry Road in Block XIII, Waitara Survey District, commencing at its junction with York Road at the northern corner of part Section 208, Huirangi District, and proceeding thence in a generally south-westerly direction for a total distance of approximately 52·4 chains, along portion of the north-western boundary of aforesaid part Section 208, Huirangi District; thence passing through the aforesaid part Section 208, Huirangi District, Section 22, Block XIII, Waitara Survey District, and for a distance of approximately 163·5 links through Section 23, Block XIII, Waitara Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 134749 and P.W.D. 134750, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Consenting to Land Being Taken for Milk-supply Purposes in the Borough of Whangarei

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for milk-supply purposes.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 23·8 perches.
Being part Lot 4, D.P. 26499, being part Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei.

Situated in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District (Borough of Whangarei), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 36163.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134793, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Revoking Order in Council of the 30th May, 1951, Licensing Alfred Carr Saunders to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Paremata, as a Site for a Boat-building Shed and Slipway

Whereas by Order in Council dated the 30th day of May, 1951, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 7th day of the following month, at page 813, Alfred Carr Saunders, of Paremata (hereinafter called “the licensee”), was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Paremata as a site for a boat-building shed and slipway for a term of fourteen years:

And whereas it is desirable to revoke the hereinbefore recited Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1950, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore recited Order in Council of the 30th day of May, 1951, as from the 1st day of June, 1951.

Authorizing Thomas Gilchrist and Sons, of Oturehua, Storekeepers, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Maniototo, and Revoking an Existing Licence

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of July, 1951

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize Thomas Gilchrist and Sons, of Oturehua, Storekeepers (hereinafter referred to as the licensees), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto; and further doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the 27th day of October, 1937, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 28th day of the same month at page 2405, authorizing the licensees to erect certain electric lines.

CONDITIONS

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

In respect of the lines hereby authorized, the licensees shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1972, or until electrical energy is available from an electric-power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, leading from the licensees’ engine-room, situated on Section 285, in a north-easterly direction to two dwelling-houses, also situated on the said Section 285, and in a southerly direction to the Oturehua Hall, situated in Section 92, all being situated in Block I, Blackstone Survey District; the said lines being shown by means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 147, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Portion of Pukaki Domain in Canterbury Land District Brought Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

By virtue of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 6 of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Pukaki Domain in the Canterbury Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908; and such land shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

SCHEDULE

Canterbury Land District—Portion of Pukaki Domain Reserve 4592, situated in Block XV, Pukaki West Survey District: Area. 1 rood 16·2 perches, more or less. (S.O plan 8058.)
