Vesting Control of Portion of the Pukaki Domain Under the Tourist
and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1951
Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
on him by section 5 of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control
Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed the said Act), His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby vest the control of the portion of the
Pukaki Domain described in the Schedule hereto in the Minister of
the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said
Act, and doth hereby declare that the said portion of the Pukaki
Domain shall be administered under the said Act.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—PORTION OF THE PUKAKI DOMAIN
RESERVE 4592, situated in Block XV, Pukaki West Survey District :
Area, 1 rood 16·2 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 8058.)

Vesting the Control of a Recreation Reserve in the Waitaki County
Council

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1951
Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been
duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes : And
whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should
be vested in the Waitaki County Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 17 of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Waitaki County
Council.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 26·96 perches,
more or less, situated in the Township of Casanova, being Lots 12,
13, and 14 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin,
under No. 6427, being part Section 12, Block I, Oamaru Survey
District. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by
section 59 of the Land Act, 1948, and subject also to the
reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment
Act, 1950.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been
duly set apart for water-conservation purposes :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is
expedient to vest the said reserve in the Golden Bay Electric-power
Board :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the
date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in the Golden Bay Electric-power Board, in trust,
for water-conservation purposes.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 25, Block VIII, and Section 24, Block IX, Waitapu
Survey District : Total area, 1,075 acres, more or less. Subject to
the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land
Act, 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8
of the Coal Mines Amendment Act, 1950.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have
been duly set apart as reserves for plantation purposes :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient
to vest the said reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants
of the County of Geraldine :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the
date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of
the County of Geraldine, in trust, for plantation purposes.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RESERVE 4614, situated in Block III, Geraldine Survey District,
and Reserve 4615, situated in Block VI, Orari Survey District :
Total area, 35 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less. Subject to
the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land
Act, 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8
of the Coal Mines Amendment Act, 1950.

Revoking the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve in Town Survey
District, Otago Land District

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for the purpose
of an Industrial School over the land described in the Schedule
hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested
in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land
Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 11 acres 2 roods
9·1 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 41 and 42, Block
VI, Town Survey District, and being part of the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Volume 46, folio 72 (Otago
Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 6/6/473B, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in the North Auckland Land District Brought
Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of
August, 1951
Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recrea-
tion in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation
of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said
Act ; and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Pahia
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public
domain by the Pahia Domain Board.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 32, Block I, Russell Survey District, being Motu Arahi
Island : Area 4 acres and 7 perches, more or less. Subject to the
reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act,
1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of
the Coal Mines Amendment Act, 1950. (S.O. plan 36495s.)
