for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was acquired subject to the drainage rights created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 85412 (Auckland Land Registry), to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act, 1948, subject to the said drainage rights.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 27·87 perches.

Being Lot 80, D.P. 37894, being part Allotment 13, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in the Borough of One Tree Hill, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 824, folio 251 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of July, 1951.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of August, 1951.

Approximate area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2·8 perches. Being part Section 26, Culverden Settlement, being formerly part Sections 76 and 90, Square 90.

Situated in Block II, Culverden Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 8070.)

Approximate area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood 11·43 perches.

Being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 27367, being portions of Allotment 44, Parish of Manurewa, situated in the Borough of Papatoetoe, and being the whole of the land formerly comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 245 (Auckland Land Registry).

Authorizing the Laying-off of Hughes Avenue, in the City of Palmerston North, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of August, 1951

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Palmerston North City Council to lay-off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for a part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 66, D.P. 13529, and on Lots 73 to 81 inclusive, and Lots 85 to 91 inclusive, of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 133515, referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

That proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of Palmerston North, to be known as Hughes Avenue, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 4 perches, more or less, being part Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25, D.P. 2494, being part Rural Section 1536, Township of Palmerston North. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133515, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
