Vesting a Reserve in the Otorohanga Town Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
June, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been
duly set apart as a reserve for water-conservation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient
to vest the said reserve in the Otorohanga Town Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the
reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the
Otorohanga Town Board, in trust, for water-conservation purposes.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 38 to 42 (inclusive), Block III, Oraniri Survey District:
Area, 6 acres 3 roods 33.2 perches, more or less. (South Auckland

Vesting the Control of Reserves in the Oamaru Harbour Board

At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been
duly set apart as reserves for plantation purposes: And
whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserves should
be vested in the Oamaru Harbour Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 17 of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby vest the control of the said reserves in the Oamaru Harbour
Board.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 62, Block IV, Oamaru Survey District: Area, 10 acres,
more or less.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 8 acres 3 roods
9 perches, more or less, being part Section 63, Block IV, Oamaru
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 6/10/25A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a post-office
site over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown,
is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for police
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is
Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

Land Reserved in the North Auckland Land District

WHEREAS by section 167 of the Land Act, 1948, it is enacted
that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart
as a reserve, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under
pastoral lease or pastoral occupation licence, any Crown land for
any purpose which, in his opinion, is desirable in the public interest,
and notice thereof shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Frey-
berg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the said Act, do hereby reserve, subject to the reservations
and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act, 1948, and
subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal
Mines Amendment Act, 1950, the land in the North Auckland Land
District, described in the Schedule hereto, for a kindergarten site.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 1 rood 35.4 perches, more or less, being Lot 2
as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland
under No. 30623, being part Allotment 13 of Section 12, Suburbs of
Auckland.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 13th day of June, 1951.
