Members Appointed to the Frankton Aerodrome Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
June, 1951
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 25th day of August, 1948, and published in the Gazette of the 26th day of that month, the control of a reserve for aerodrome purposes in the Otago Land District was vested in certain persons therein named who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Frankton Aerodrome Board, in pursuance of section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that
John Brown Hamilton, the elder, and
Robert Charles Robins should be appointed members of the said Board in place of
William Henry Thompson, resigned, and
David William Thompson:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said
John Brown Hamilton, the elder, and
Robert Charles Robins
to be members of the Frankton Aerodrome Board, constituted by the Order in Council dated the 25th day of August, 1948, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said William Henry Thompson, resigned, and David William Thompson.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 4th day of October, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 5th day of that month, the control of the land described in the Schedule to that document, being a reserve for a site for a public hall, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Hikuai Public Hall Board, in pursuance of section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that Edward Grassick should be appointed a member of the said Board in place of Trevor Sidney Petersen, left the district:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said
Edward Grassick
to be a member of the Hikuai Public Hall Board, constituted by the Order in Council dated the 4th day of October, 1950, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said Trevor Sidney Petersen, left the district.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Oraka, Southland Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of June, 1951

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a drill-shed:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a public-hall site:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a drill-shed to a reserve for a public-hall site.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Geraldine Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of June, 1951
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a public library and is vested in trust in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Geraldine:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Geraldine Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Geraldine of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Waihopai Rabbit Board

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for Rabbit Board buildings: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Waihopai Rabbit Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Waihopai Rabbit Board, in trust, for Rabbit Board buildings.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a resting-place for travelling stock: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook, in trust, for a resting-place for travelling stock.
