PRIVATE BILL
In the matter of the Standing Orders of the General Assembly
relative to Private Bills; and in the matter of a Private
Bill intituled “An Act to Amend the Trusts of a Volun-
tary Settlement made by PEGGY JOAN BOYS, wife of
HENRY BRIAN WARD BOYS, of Waipawa, Sheepfarmer,
by vesting the capital thereof in the said PEGGY JOAN
BOYS.”
NOTICE is hereby given by PEGGY JOAN BOYS, wife of Henry
Brian Ward Boys, of Waipawa, Sheepfarmer, that she intends
to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand in
Parliament Assembled for leave to bring in a Private Bill having
as its object the vesting in the said Peggy Joan Boys absolutely
of the capital funds held by CHARLES HERBERT LAWRENCE, of
Christchurch, Stockbroker, and DAVID PENN SCANNELL, of Hastings,
Solicitor, as the trustees under a Deed of Settlement made the
15th day of August, 1930, between the said Peggy Joan Boys under
her maiden name of Peggy Joan Williams of the one part and
HENRY DYKE ACLAND, of 77 Hereford Street, Christchurch, Solicitor,
and JOHN MOWBRAY HOWARD TRIPP, of Silverton, Farmer, of the
other part, and notice is hereby further given that printed copies
of the Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill Office on or before
the 8th day of June, 1951.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of HARRY CHILDS, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that by a special resolution of the above
company, passed on the 28th day of May, 1951, it was
resolved :—
“ (1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“ (2) That Mr. WILLIAM HENRY DALTON, of Ashburton,
Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the
company.”

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Workers Dwellings Loan, 1951, £5,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Ohinemuri
County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Ohinemuri
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
purchasing land, erecting dwellings, and purchasing land with
dwellings thereon, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of ³⁄₁₆ths (three-sixteenths) of a penny in the
pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property of the County of Ohinemuri comprising
the whole of the County of Ohinemuri and that such special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the 8th day of August in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 (twenty)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution
passed by the Ohinemuri County Council at a meeting of the said
Council held on the 10th day of May, 1951.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the
Auckland City Council held on the 24th day of May, 1951.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by section 287 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,
the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans
Board Act, 1926, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby
resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges
on a loan of £250,000 authorized to be raised by the Auckland City
Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of
redeeming at maturity the Street Lighting Improvement Loan,
1950 (£250,000), the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one and nine-twentieths (1⁹⁄₂₀ths) of one
penny (1d.) in the pound (£) upon the annual value of all rateable
property in the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
shall be paid yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being for a period of 15 years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

HOWICK TOWN BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Howick Development Loan, 1950
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Howick Town Board
resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of twenty-six thousand six hundred and twenty
pounds (£26,620) authorized to be raised by the Howick Town Board
by way of special loan under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of carrying out road and footpath improvements, the purchase of
road maintenance plant, and the purchase of road and recreation
reserves within the Town District of Howick, the said Howick Town
Board makes and levies a special rate of three (3) pence and thirteen-
sixteenths (¹³⁄₁₆) of one (1) penny in the pound (£) on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the Town District of Howick ; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

at a meeting of the Howick Town Board held on the 24th day of
May, 1951.

Fenton Water Supply Loan, 1950
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Howick Town Board
resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of two thousand four hundred and thirty-
three pounds (£2,433) authorized to be raised by the Howick Town
Board by way of special loan under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of providing waterworks comprising the extension of
the existing water reticulation to the area of the Town District of
Howick known as the Fenton Subdivision, the said Howick Town
Board makes and levies a special rate of five (5) pence and forty-five
sixty-fourths (⁴⁵⁄₆₄ths) of one (1) penny in the pound (£) on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the Fenton Subdivision in the Town District of Howick ; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
