Land Taken for a Recreation-ground in Block IX, Mapara Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of April, 1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 1 rood 15 perches.
Being part Rangitoto Tuhua 68o 2d 2 Block.
Situated in Block IX, Mapara Survey District (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 8408.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132880, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th of day March, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of April, 1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 3 acres 1 rood 10·34 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 15070, being part Section 77, Left Bank Wanganui River, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 425, folio 240, and part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 264, folio 175 (Wellington Land Registry).
Situated in the City of Wanganui.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
