A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set
apart for the development of water-power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme).

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto,
such road being no longer required.

closed for defence purposes.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 29·3 perches.
Being road in Proclamation No. 1870, being formerly part Lots 32,
33, and 34, D.P. 1807, being part Rural Section 1371.
Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115115, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
