Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in Block IV, Hautapu Survey District, Wellington Land District

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 8 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 43, Block IV, Hautapu Survey District: Area, 9 acres 1 rood 1·9 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 22271.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of April, 1951.

Land Taken for Public Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of Lyttelton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of April, 1951.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—

A. R. P.
0 0 15·75 Part Town Section 9, situated in the Borough of Lyttelton, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 240, folio 166 (Canterbury Land Registry).

0 0 8·6 Part Town Section 24, situated in the Borough of Lyttelton, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 283, folio 236 (Canterbury Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of March, 1951.

Land Taken for Buildings of the General Government in Block III, Te Puia Township

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of April, 1951.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 roods.
Being Section 9, Block III, Te Puia Township, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 86, folio 170, Gisborne Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of March, 1951.
