Revocation of Nominations of Persons Qualified for Appointment as Assessors in Criminal Trials Under the Cook Islands Act, 1915

PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section 295 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, I, Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the nomination of persons qualified for appointment as assessors in criminal trials in the High Court of the Cook Islands, made by Warrant gazetted in New Zealand Gazette No. 44 of the 12th day of August, 1948, at page 1003, in respect of persons in the Island of Niue, and in lieu thereof I hereby nominate the persons named in the Schedule hereto as persons qualified for appointment as assessors under the said Act generally in criminal trials in the High Court of the Cook Islands in the Island of Niue, and I declare that this Warrant shall take effect on the 1st day of March, 1951.

Revocation of Appointment of Judge of High Court of Cook Islands

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Cook Islands Act, 1915, I, Bernard Cyril Freyberg, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the appointment of
Joseph Morling
as a Judge of the High Court of the Cook Islands.

Captain J. F. Bevin, from the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 4th Medium Regiment, R.N.Z.A., to be Captain, with seniority from 24th November, 1947, and is posted to the 4th Medium Regiment, R.N.Z.A. Dated 12th February, 1951.
Temp. Captain H. E. Read, 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, The Royal N.Z. Artillery, with the rank of Captain, with seniority from 1st December, 1941. Dated 19th February, 1951.
Temp. Captain G. H. A. Johansen, late 22nd Anti-tank Battery, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, The Royal N.Z. Artillery, with the rank of Captain, with seniority from 1st November, 1942. Dated 1st May, 1949.
