Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Rangitikei County, known as the Rata Farm Settlement (Mellington) Road, commencing at its junction with Rangitira Road and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of 91 chains, more or less, adjoining Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Block X, Ongo Survey District (Rata Farm Settlement). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133705, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Pursuant to the powers vested in him by section 6 of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare that the access-way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens in the City of Auckland and be under the control and management of the Auckland City Council.

- This order may be cited as the Christchurch Tramway Board (Transport Charges) Order, 1951.
- The Christchurch Tramway Board, as constituted by the Christchurch Tramway District Act, 1920, is hereby declared to be a public body for the purposes of Part VI of the Transport Act, 1949.
