THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amend-
ment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act,
1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Motueka Borough
Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described
in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of their lengths of less
than 66 feet, but not less than 50 feet, subject to a condition that
no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on
the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 133788,
referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 feet from
the centre-lines of the said streets.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Nelson Land District, Borough of
Motueka, to be known as Hulbert Street, containing by admeasure-
ment 1 rood 17·1 perches, more or less, being part Section 185,
District of Motueka, part of the said street being part Lot 8, D.P.
2494. Also that proposed street in the Nelson Land District,
Borough of Motueka, to be known as Fry Street, containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 17·1 perches, more or less, being part
Section 185, District of Motueka. As the same are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133788, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured

in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than
66 feet, but not less than 50 feet, subject to the condition that no

subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the
plan marked P.W.D. 133707, referred to in the said Schedule)
within a distance of 48 feet from the centre-line of the said street,
and subject further to the condition that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on Lots 9 and 10 of the said
subdivision within a distance of 38 feet from the north-eastern
boundary of the said Lots 9 and 10.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough
of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 4·6 perches,
more or less, being part Lot 10, D.P. 11855, being part Allotment
39, Parish of Manurewa. As the same is more particularly delineated

PURSUANT to section 27 of the Public Works Amendment
Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend the Order
in Council dated the 15th day of December, 1933, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette No. 87 of the 21st day of the same
month, at page 3408, and deposited in the Land Registry Office,
at Wellington under No. 1689, authorizing the Johnsonville Town
Board to permit the laying-off of a street in the Town District
of Johnsonville of a width less than 66 feet, but not less than 40
feet, subject to a condition as to the building-line, by cancelling
the building-line condition imposed by the said Order in Council
in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected : 20·57 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 10616, situated in the Town District of John-
sonville, and being part of the land comprised and described
in Certificate of Title, Volume 486, folio 206, Wellington

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by
the Wellington City Council on the 13th day of September, 1950,
in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the
Schedule hereto, viz. :—
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the
Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the
western side of Lambton Quay fronting the part of Lot 2,
D.P. 977, comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 104, folio
116 (Wellington Registry) ”.
