ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the summit of the Tararua Range due west of the northernmost source of the Waingawa River; thence northerly generally along a line along the summit of the range to Mount Dundas; thence northerly along a right line in line with Mount Dundas and Arawaru Trig. Station to its intersection with a right line bearing 297° from Tawhero Trig. Station; thence south-easterly by that right line last mentioned to Tawhero Trig. Station; thence again south-easterly along the Tawhero Range to the western boundary of Section 9, Block IV, Mikimiki Survey District; thence southerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Ruamahanga River; thence south-easterly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 71, Block VIII, Mikimiki Survey District; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and easterly generally along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 71 aforesaid, the south-western boundary of Section 19, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, the northern boundary of Section 69, Opaki District, the western and northern boundaries of Section 27, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, and the production of the last mentioned boundary across Jackson’s Road to its eastern side; thence southerly along the eastern side of that road to the northern boundary of Section 70, Opaki District; thence easterly along that northern boundary, across a public road, and again by that northern boundary and its production to the middle of the Kopuaranga River; thence northerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 50, Rangitumau District; thence easterly to and along that boundary to the easternmost corner of Section 50 aforesaid; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Sections 88, 86, and 84, Block V, Sections 82, 80, and 78, Block IX, Kopuaranga Survey District, to the southern boundary of Section 40, Block IX, Kopuaranga Survey District; thence westerly along that southern boundary and its production to the middle of the Kopuaranga River; thence southerly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 20, Rangitumau District; thence westerly to and along that boundary by the crossing of the Woodville–Masterton State Highway and the Wellington–Napier Railway, and again by the northern boundary of Section 20 aforesaid and its production to the middle of the Ruamahanga River; thence southerly generally along the middle of that river to its intersection with the middle of the Masterton-Castlepoint Main Highway; thence westerly to and along the middle of that highway to the Borough of Masterton hereinbefore described; thence generally northerly, westerly, and southerly along that borough boundary to the north-western boundary of the Wellington-Napier Railway; thence south-westerly along that north-western boundary to the northern boundary of Section 49, Manaia Block; thence westerly along that boundary and the northern boundary of Section 50, Manaia Block, to the western boundary of that section; thence southerly along that boundary to the Wellington-Napier Railway, across that railway and again by the western boundary of that section to the middle of the Waingawa River; thence north-westerly generally by the middle of that river to its source; thence due west to the point of commencement.
