BOUNDARIES OF THE TE WHITI RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF MASTERTON

All that area of land in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point being the intersection of the western side of Gordon Road and the northern side of Te Ore Ore Road ; thence proceeding easterly along the northern side of Te Ore Ore Road and the northern side of the Masterton-Castlepoint Main Highway as shown on the Survey Office plan numbered 10834, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5, Taueru District ; thence southerly to and along that eastern boundary and its production to the middle of the Tauere River ; thence southerly generally down the middle of that river to the middle of the Ruamahanga River; thence northerly generally up the middle of the Ruamahanga and Waingawa Rivers to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 50, Manaia Block ; thence northerly to and along that western boundary to the Wellington-Napier Railway, across that railway, and again by the western boundary of Section 50 aforesaid to the north-western boundary of that section ; thence westerly along the northern boundary of that section and Section 49 to the north-western boundary of the Wellington-Napier Railway; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of that railway to the Borough of Masterton hereinbefore described ; thence southerly, easterly, and northerly generally along the borough boundary to the point of commencement.

The Standards Act, 1941.-Draft New Zealand Standard Specification : No. D. 3104. Timber Preservatives and Code of Recommended Practice for Timber Preservation

NOTICE is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand standard specification is now being circulated to affected interests for consideration and comment. The closing-date fixed for such comment is the llth May, 1951.

All persons who may be affected by this specification once it has been declared a standard specification by the Minister of Industries and Commerce may, at any time before the closing-date for comments, obtain, on application, free copies from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Hamilton Chambers, 201 Lambton Quay, Wellington, so as to have an opportunity to consider the draft and to comment thereon to the Standards Council or to an appropriate committee of the Council in accordance with subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act, 1941.
