At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of February, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the 9th day of October, 1950, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :

“ The Christchurch City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Christchurch, by resolution declares that the provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of Southwark Street adjoining Town Reserve 7, and being all of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 219, folio 199 (Canterbury Registry).”

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of February, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth City Council on the 18th day of September, 1950, in so far as it affects the sides and portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :

“ The New Plymouth City Council, being the Local Authority having control of the streets in the City of New Plymouth, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply :

“ (a) To the southern side of the portion of Regina Place adjoining part Sections 593, 594, 595, 596, and 597, Town of New Plymouth, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 99, folio 8 (Taranaki Registry) ; nor

“ (b) To the western side of the portion of Queen Street adjoining the said part Section 597, Town of New Plymouth.”


SCHEDULE

THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, City of New Plymouth, known as Regina Place, fronting part Sections 593, 594, 595, 596, and 597, Town of New Plymouth.

Also the western side of all that portion of street in the said land district and city, known as Queen Street, fronting part Section 597, Town of New Plymouth.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133476, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring the Mangaroa Farm Settlement Road in the Wairoa and Cook Counties to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Gisborne Land District, Cook and Wairoa Counties, known as the Mangaroa Farm Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with the Ruakituri Road, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally, adjoining Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block IX, Hangaroa Survey District, and terminating at the south-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block IX, Hangaroa Survey District, being a distance of 283 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133238, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring the Titipua Farm Settlement Road in the Southland County to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of February, 1951

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that road in the Southland Land District, Southland County, known as the Titipua Farm Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with Cross Road, thence proceeding generally easterly through Sections 2 and 6, Block VII, Lindhurst Hundred, for a distance of 69½ chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132571, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Titipua Farm Settlement in the Southland Land District, Southland County, in Block II, Lothian Hundred, commencing at its intersection with the road forming the western boundary of Sections 6 and 7, Block II, Lothian Hundred, and adjoining the said Sections 6 and 7 in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 23 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133419, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
