Land Held for Defence Purposes Set Apart for Buildings of the General Government in Block VI, Hamilton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for defence purposes, is hereby set apart for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of January, 1951.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land set apart:—

2 3 32 Part of the land on D.P. 2456, being part Allotment 168, Te Rapa Parish, being part of the land in Proclamation 11631.

Situated in Block VI, Hamilton Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34168.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133039, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of December, 1950.

Land Held for the Development of Water-power Set Apart for Road in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto now held for the development of water-power is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of January, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 2·9 perches. Being part Lot 137, D.P. 3963, being part Rural Section 4453.

Situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 8193.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131309, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red, edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1950.

Land and Easements Over Land Taken for the Development of Waterpower (Maungatapere Substation) in Blocks XIV and XV, Purua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Maungatapere substation); and also do hereby proclaim and declare that easements for the development of water-power are hereby taken vesting in His Majesty the King, first, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to take water from a spring situated on the land secondly described in the Second Schedule hereto and for that purpose to construct, use, and maintain a pump-house thereon and to carry out any other works that are deemed necessary by His Majesty the King to provide an unpolluted and adequate supply of water to the said substation, secondly, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to convey water from the said pump-house to the said substation along, under, or over the land described in the said Second Schedule and for that purpose to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of pipes along, under, or over the said land described in the said Second Schedule, and thirdly, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to transmit electricity to the said pump-house from the said substation along, under, or over the said land described in the said Second Schedule and for that purpose to erect, maintain, repair, and renew electric-power lines along, under, or over the said land described in the said Second Schedule; the aforesaid easements to be appurtenant to the land fourthly and fifthly described in the said First Schedule.
