Pharmacy Industry
A. E. Aldridge, 84a Wairoa Road, Narrowneck, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 4 St. Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
W. Millner, Ltd., Sockburn, has applied for licences to resell motor-spirit from (1) four pumps to be installed on service-station premises at the corner of Epsom and Middlepark Roads, Sockburn, and (2) two pumps to be installed on service-station premises, 108 Middlepark Road, Sockburn.
A. G. Stenhouse, Stewart Street, Whakatane, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Stewart Street, Whakatane.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 23rd February, 1950, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Position: At the beacon. Lat. 41° 17′ S.; long. 174° 49′·6 E. (approx.).
Details: A Nautophone Triple Vibrator Horn Signal giving a 5 seconds blast every 20 seconds, i.e., 5 seconds blast 15 seconds silent, will be in operation at the above beacon on 17th February, 1950.
