Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required
for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the
land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to
the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
145 acres 2 roods 21·99 perches.

Being part Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, Watts Peninsula District, and
being also part Lot 1, D.P. 8458, and being all the land in
Transfer No. 330761, and being also the balance of the land
formerly comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume
382, folio 239, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of December, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard
Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto, now held for railway, is hereby set apart for the Wellington–Foxton motor-way.

SCHEDULE

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned,
and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
