Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Egmont County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of November, 1950
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Egmont:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Egmont County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Egmont of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for gravel purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otorohanga:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otorohanga, in trust for gravel purposes.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Marima Hall Society (Incorporated)

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a site for a public hall:
And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Marima Hall Society (Incorporated):
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby constitute the Marima Hall Society (Incorporated) a special Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) for the purpose of controlling and managing the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a public hall; and doth hereby vest the control and management of the said reserve in the Board, which shall hold the said reserve in trust for the purposes of a site for a public hall subject to the condition that:-
The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Board to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Site for a War Memorial Hall in the French Pass Road Board

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of November, 1950

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for a war memorial hall:
And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the French Pass Road Board.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the French Pass Road Board, subject to the condition that :-
The said Board shall prepare a report each year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. A copy of every such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each financial year.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 9Β·9 perches, more or less, being part Section 3, Square 93, situated in Block V, French Pass Survey District, and being all the land shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Nelson, under No. 3973. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/879A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Tuamarina Memorial Public Hall Board

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of November, 1950
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a public hall site: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act), in the undermentioned persons namely,-
John Burley Barnett,
Enid Maude Barnett,
Frank William Smith,
Elizabeth Alice Smith,
Lindo Erle Patchett,
Daniel John O'Sullivan, and
Richard Claude Woolley
who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Tuamarina Memorial Public Hall Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :β€”

  1. The first meeting of the Board shall be held on Wednesday, the 13th day of December, 1950, at 8 o'clock p.m. at the Tuamarina Memorial Hall, and thereafter the Board shall meet for the transaction of business at such time and place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board.
  2. The members of the Board shall at their first meeting, and thereafter at the annual meeting hereinafter mentioned, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.
