Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days' notice of any such meeting is given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any four members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

If by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself without reasonable cause from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at the meeting.

The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

The Board shall control the said reserve and the building erected thereon for the purposes of a public hall, and shall also afford settlers and residents of Tuamarina and the surrounding district such facilities for meeting within the said hall as may from time to time be determined by the Board ; provided that the Board shall have power to fix reasonable charges for the use of the said hall.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for the purposes of a fishing reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a resting-place for travelling stock over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

Recreation Reserves in Wellington Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Birchville Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public Domain by the Birchville Domain Board.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL those areas situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 acre 2 roods 39 perches, more or less, and described as follows:β
All that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 36.2 perches, more or less, being Lot 29 on a plan lodged in the Deeds Registry Office at Wellington under No. 609, being part Section 174, Hutt District.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 20 perches, more or less, being Lot 33 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 12486, being part Section 354, Hutt District, subject to water rights created or granted by Transfer No. 94625 in favour of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Upper Hutt.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 22.8 perches, more or less, being part Section 355, Hutt District and part of a closed road, marked "Recreation Reserve" on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 8723.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1/1091 B, c, and d, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
