Roddy Road and Clarke Road to the southern boundary of Section
162 ; then westerly along that boundary to York Road ; then
northerly along that road to the south-eastern boundary of Section
153 ; then south-westerly along that boundary and the south-
eastern boundary of Section 152 ; then south-easterly along the
north-eastern boundaries of Sections 144 and 145 ; then south-
westerly along the north-western and western boundaries of Lot 2
as shown on plan number 6599, deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at New Plymouth, to its intersection with the
south-eastern boundary of part Lot 2 as shown on plan numbered
4840, deposited as aforesaid ; then south-westerly along that
boundary to Kelly Road, and by that road and the southern
boundary of Section 134 ; then northerly along the western boun-
daries of Sections 134, 135, 136, and 137, to the south-eastern
corner of Section 128 ; then westerly along the southern boundary
of that section to the eastern side of Richmond Road ; then
southerly along the said eastern side of the road to a point in line
with the southern boundary of Section 121 ; then westerly across
Richmond Road, along the south-eastern boundary of the said
Section 121 ; then north-westerly and south-westerly generally
along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Section 111,
to and along the eastern side of Wortley Road to a point in line with
the northern boundary of Section 98 ; then across Wortley Road,
along the northern boundary of the said Section 98 and along the
western boundaries of the said Section 98 and Section 99, Huirangi
District, to and along the northern boundary of Section 200, to and
along the eastern and northern boundaries of Section 54, Tarurutangi
District, to Hursthouse Road ; then northerly along the eastern
side of Hursthouse Road to a point in line with the northern boun-
dary of Section 53 ; then south-westerly generally across
Hursthouse Road, along the northern and western boundaries of the
said Section 53, along the northern boundary of Section 49, to and
across King Road, along the western side of that road to the northern
boundary of Section 42 ; then westerly generally along that
boundary, along the eastern and northern boundaries of Section 33,
to and across Upland Road, along the northern boundary of Section
28, Tarurutangi District, along the eastern and northern boundaries
of Section 46, Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred, to Egmont Road ;
then northerly along the eastern side of that road to a point in line
with the northern boundary of Section 47 ; then westerly along a
right line across Egmont Road to and along the northern boundary
of Section 47 to the Araheke Stream ; then northerly down the
middle of the Araheke Stream to the north-western boundary of
Section 48 ; then south-westerly generally by that boundary to
the Waiwakaiho River, up the middle of the Waiwakaiho River to
its source and along a right line to the summit of Mount Egmont ;
then north-westerly along a right line to the middle of the Puniho
Road at the Egmont National Park boundary, along the middle of
the Puniho Road to its junction with the Coast Road, across Coast
Road and along the northern boundary of Section 26, Block IV,
Cape Survey District, to the sea ; then north-easterly along the
sea-coast to its intersection with the western boundary of the
Borough of Waitara, the point of commencement ; excluding there-

county to the north-western boundary of Section 15, Block XV,

River to the Junction Road Crossing at Tarata ; then westerly
generally along Junction Road to the eastern boundary of the
Borough of Inglewood as described in New Zealand Gazette of 1903,
at page 726 ; then northerly and westerly by the eastern and
northern boundaries of that Borough to Mountain Road ; then
northerly by that road to its intersection with the northern
boundary of Inglewood County, the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 246 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize
the disposition to and acquisition by the Proprietors of Tauwharetoi
3B and adjoining Blocks, Incorporated of Section 2, Block XIV,
Hangaroa Survey District, containing 691 acres 2 roods, more or less,
notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

Fixing Sittings of the Court of Appeal

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of
November, 1950

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by the Judicature Amendment Act, 1913, it is
enacted that the Court of Appeal shall hold its sittings at
such times and places as are from time to time appointed by the
Governor-General in Council and notified in the New Zealand Gazette
twenty-one days at least before the times so fixed respectively, and
that such appointment shall determine the division by which such
sittings shall be held :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
and declare that sittings of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall
be held within the Supreme Court House, in the City of Wellington,
upon the following days at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, and doth
hereby determine that such sittings shall be held by the respective
divisions of the said Court as are shown hereunder :—
Monday the twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred
and fifty-one : By the Second Division of the said Court.
Monday the eleventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and fifty-one : By the First Division of the said Court.
Monday, the tenth day of September, one thousand nine
hundred and fifty-one : By the Second Division of the said
Court.

Appointing Members of the First and Second Divisions of the Court
of Appeal

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by section five of the Judicature Amendment
Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Court of Appeal shall
consist of two divisions, to be called respectively the First Division
and the Second Division of the Court of Appeal ; and that each
division shall consist of five Judges of the Supreme Court, to be
appointed to that division by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas the power conferred by the said Act upon the
Governor-General in Council of appointing Judges as members of
either division, or revoking any such appointment, shall be
exercisable on the recommendation of not less than three Judges
of the Supreme Court (of whom the Chief Justice shall be one),
and not otherwise :
And whereas the Right Honourable the Chief Justice, the
Honourable Mr. Justice Fair, the Honourable Mr. Justice Northcroft,
the Honourable Mr. Justice Finlay, and the Honourable Mr. Justice
Gresson have recommended that the two divisions of the Court of
Appeal for the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one shall
be constituted as shown hereafter :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by
the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
