Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being a provisional State forest reserve set apart by proclamation dated the 4th day of December, 1946, and gazetted on the 12th day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act, 1948.

Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land in Block XVI, Mata Survey District, Taken for a Main Highway Depot

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by D. J. Barry, Limited, for a term of 21 years from the 1st day of July, 1935, under and by virtue of an unregistered deed of lease dated the 1st day of July, 1935, is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of October, 1950.

An Easement Over Land Taken for Defence Purposes in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity, to construct and use a right-of-way with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the land in Proclamation No. 3617, Wellington Land Registry, taken for defence purposes by Proclamation dated the 3rd day of December, 1945, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76 of the 6th day of the same month, at page 1511, such easement to be held appurtenant to the said land taken for defence purposes by the said Proclamation.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of an aerodrome (fan marker); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of October, 1950.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 24 perches. Being Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 37337 (Town of New Lynn Extension No. 200), being part Allotment 291, Parish of Waikomiti, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 727, folio 226 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of October, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an aerodrome (housing); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of October, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 36·2 perches. Being part Lot 16, D.P. 1126, being part Maxwell’s Grant.
