Proclaiming a Road-line Laid Off in Blocks III and VII, Tarawera Survey District, South Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the 9th day of May, 1946, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of sections 482 and 483 of the Maori Land Act, 1931:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section 486 of the said Act:
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection (2) of section 487 of the said Act:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

2 0 38·2 Rotomahana Parekarangi 6F 2B; coloured blue. (M.L. plan 16750.)
1 3 04·3 Rotomahana Parekarangi 6C 2B; coloured yellow. (M.L. plan 16752.) Situated in Block VII, Tarawera Survey District.
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 22/1935, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under Nos. 3056 and 3057, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of October, 1950.

Road Traversing Maori Land Proclaimed as a Public Road in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, North Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Maori Land and has been used by the public as a public road and has been formed, improved, or maintained out of public funds:
And whereas the Maori Land Court, by an order made on the 2nd day of November, 1949, and issued pursuant to section 484 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section 486 of the Maori Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 2 acres 6·9 perches.
Being portion of Orakei No. 1 Reserve C No. 2B 2. Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District. (M.L. 13151.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3135, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3058, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of October, 1950.
