Vesting a Reserve in the Ashburton County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of May, 1950
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton, in trust for plantation purposes.

SECTION 1, Reserve 240, situated in Block I, Spaxton Survey District : Area, 20 acres, more or less. (S.O. plan 1242.)

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
By virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Waiake Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Waiake Domain Board.

SCHEDULE
North Auckland Land District
ALL that area in the County of Waitemata, situated in Block IV, Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 35-86 perches, more or less, being Lot 181, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, under No. 17342, being part of Allotment 189, Parish of Takapuna. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/850c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, North Auckland Land District

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a site for a public hall over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

ALLOTMENT 20A of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods, more or less.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Ngakuta Domain

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint The Commissioner of Crown Lands, Blenheim, ex officio, The member representing the Spring Creek-Picton Riding of the Marlborough County Council, ex officio, Walter Marriott Bishell, Alfred Andrew Perano, William John Elvy, Raymond Victor Bythell, and Harold Franklin Hursthouse to be the Ngakuta Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the 1st day of June, 1950, at 11 o'clock a.m., as the time when, and Momorangi Bay, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Marlborough Land District.—Ngakuta Domain
PART Section 13, Block XI, Linkwater Survey District : Area, 9 acres.
Also Section 17, Block XI, Linkwater Survey District : Area, 1 acre.

Also all that area situated in Block XI, Linkwater Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 5·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 33 on D.P. 1557 (Town of the Grove Extension No. 1), and being part of Toms Grant, Queen Charlotte Sound Registration District.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint William Richard Dense, Thomas James Rowse, Alfred Edward Dreckman, Patrick Heeney, Charles Archibald Richardson, Desmond William Klempel, and Arthur Ernest Coleman to be the Moana Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifty, at seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Moana Schoolroom as the place where the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Westland Land District.—Moana Domain
RESERVES 954, 1132, and 1163, Block IV, Brunner Survey District : Area, 13 acres 1 rood 7-1 perches, more or less.
