Authorizing the Exchange of Portion of a Reserve in Hutt District,
Wellington Land District, for Other Land

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of May, 1950
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 8 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED
Wellington Land District
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 28-4 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, under number 14643, being part of Section 418, Hutt District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 180, folio 203 (Wellington Land Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR Wellington Land District
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 36-5 perches, more or less, being Lot 4 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, under number 14643, being part of section 418, Hutt District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 533, folio 50 (Wellington Land Registry).

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block II, Tauhara Survey District, South Auckland Land District

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for buildings of the General Government:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for buildings of the General Government to a reserve for recreation purposes.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for public purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for public purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the County of Waitemata, situated in Block IV, Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 35ยท86 perches, more or less, being Lot 181, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, under No. 17342 being part of Allotment 189, Parish of Takapuna. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/850c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Stratford Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of May, 1950
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a fire-brigade station, and is vested, in trust, in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Stratford:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Stratford Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses, of the Borough of Stratford of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Stratford Fire Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of May, 1950
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a fire-brigade station: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Stratford Fire Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Stratford Fire Board in trust, for a fire-brigade station.
