ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, comprising the Counties of Hauraki Plains, Thames, Ohinemuri, and Piako, parts of the Counties of Coromandel, Matamata, and Waikato, and the Boroughs of Te Aroha, Paeroa, Morrinsville, Thames, Matamata, Waihi, and Putaruru, bounded by a line commencing at a point where the right bank of the Miranda Stream meets the Firth of Thames; thence running easterly along the sea-coast to the southern boundary of the Thames Borough; thence along the southern the western and part of the northern boundaries of the said borough to the sea-coast; thence northerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Waikawau River and up the middle of that river to its source; thence along a right line to the northern head of the Tairua Harbour; thence south-easterly generally along the sea-coast to a point (Te Ararimu) in Block I, Katikati North Survey District, where the southern boundary of Waihi No. 5 Block meets the sea; thence south-westerly and south-easterly by the Tauranga Electric-power District as described in the Second Schedule hereto to a point, being the intersection of the right line between Trig. A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section twenty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a roadman’s cottage; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
