Also all that area containing approximately 6,100 acres, situated
in Blocks XV and XVI, Otahoua Survey District, and Blocks III
and IV, Wainuioru Survey District, and bounded generally as
follows: Towards the south-east by Sections 1 and 2, Block IV,
Wainuioru Survey District, Runs 49 and 48, and Section 7, Block
VIII, Wainuioru Survey District; towards the south-west by the
Kuamahanga Stream; towards the north-west by part of Section 121,
of the Pahaoa Block, Sections 7s, 6s, and 5s, Westmere Settlement,
and Section 14, Poroporo Settlement, to and across the Ngaumu
Road and towards the north-east by the north-eastern side of the
Ngaumu Road to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Poroporo
Settlement, Block IV, Wainuioru Survey District; thence by a right
line to the north-western corner of part of Section 147 of the Pahaoa
Block and by Section 146 of the Pahaoa Block.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 90/9,
deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Changing the Purpose of Reserves in Wellington Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of
February, 1950
Present:

THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the lands described in the First Schedule hereto
are reserves duly set apart for sites for public buildings of
the General Government:
And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for public utility purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purposes of the reservations
over such lands shall be changed to reserves for county purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purposes
of the reserves described in the First and Second Schedules hereto
are hereby changed from reserves for sites for public buildings of
the General Government and a reserve for public utility purposes,
respectively, to reserves for county purposes.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas situated in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District,
containing by admeasurement a total of 1 acre 1 rood 28Β·9 perches,
more or less, being Lots 8, and 9, Block VI, on Deposited Plan 1031
(Parata Township), being parts of Ngarara West C, and being also
all the lands comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume
232, folio 206 (Wellington Registry). As the same are more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 39588A, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, being
Lot 1 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington
under No. 6644, being part section 97, Porirua District, and being
also part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 308, folio 266 (Wellington Registry). As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 39588, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District Brought Under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928

THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in
the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under
the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of
Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part
of the Takapuna Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt
with as a public domain by the Takapuna Domain Board.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Waitemata County, situated in Block VIII,
Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods
11Β·2 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, as shown on the plan
deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 23605,
being part of Allotment 170, Parish of Takapuna. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/468,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for the use of
the Department of Agriculture over the land described in the
Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being
vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under
the Land Act, 1948.
