Vesting a Reserve in the Balclutha Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1949

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Balclutha:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Balclutha, in trust, for plantation purposes.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

SECTIONS 6 and 7, Block XXIV, Town of Balclutha: Area, 6 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less. (S.O. 90 Tn.)

Vesting Recreation Reserves in the Auckland City Council

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart as reserves for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for recreation purposes.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas in the City of Auckland situated in Blocks IX and X, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 acre 2 roods 1·66 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 4 as shown on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, as No. 35337, Lot 292, as shown on the plan numbered 14664, deposited as aforesaid, and Lot 293, as shown on the plan numbered 14665, deposited as aforesaid, all the aforementioned lots being parts of Allotments 18, 19, and 20, District of Tamaki. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans numbered L. and S. 6/1/748A, 6/1/748B, 6/1/748C, and 6/1/748D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserves in North Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1949

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter be known as the Ngunguru Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas in the Whangarei County, situated in Block IV, Whangarei Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 acre 3 roods 11·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 13 as shown on the plan numbered 36208, Lot 14 as shown on the plan numbered 33556 and Lot 31 as shown on the plan numbered 35764, all the aforesaid plans being deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, and the aforesaid Lots being parts of Kopipi Block. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1/1237 and 1/1237A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Directing Sale of Railway Land Between Turakina and Okoia Under the Public Works Act, 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.
