At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of
November, 1949
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1948, and section one hundred and twenty-
five of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize
the Hastings Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed
street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its
length of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, subject
to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any
time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked
P.W.D. 130256 referred to in the Schedule hereto within a distance
of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Borough
of Hastings, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 26·1 perches,
more or less, being part Lot 119 on D.P. 1200, and being part Lot 2,
Subdivision D of Heretaunga Block. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130256, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

in the Wanganui County, to be County Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of
November, 1949

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section one hundred and twelve of the Public
Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Wanganui
County, commencing at its junction with No. 3 Line Road and
proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally, adjoining
Sections 387 and 390, Left Bank Wanganui River (Cherry Bank
Farm Settlement), S.O. Plan 21386, and terminating at the New
Plymouth - Wellington Railway, being a distance of approximately
165 links.
Also all that portion of road in the Wellington Land District,
Wanganui County, commencing at its junction with the western
boundary of Section 389, Left Bank Wanganui River (Cherry Bank
Farm Settlement), S.O. Plan 21386, and proceeding thence in a westerly
direction generally adjoining the New Plymouth - Wellington Railway
and Section 389 aforesaid, and terminating at the eastern boundary
of Section 388, Left Bank Wanganui River (Cherry Bank Farm
Settlement), S.O. Plan 21386, a distance of approximately 230 links.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 130329, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the powers vested in him by section six of the
Housing Amendment Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby order and declare that the access-way described in the
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of
Birkenhead and be under the control and management of the
Birkenhead Borough Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the access-way dealt with : 7·2 perches.
Being part Lots 18 and 24, D.P. 7159, being parts Allotment 153,
Takapuna Parish.
Situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District (Borough of
Birkenhead), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34939.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Two of the members of the Coromandel County Council
representing the Coromandel Riding, ex officio,
William John Denize,
Harry Vincent Denize,
Frederick Henry Purdom,
John Harold Lucas,
Horace Clifford Rush,
Chris Augustus Hare, and
William Henry Turner
to be the Coromandel Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday,
the sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the County Council
offices, Coromandel, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.
