Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Himatangi Beach Domain

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Edward Barling,
Henry Albert Fox,
Edward Albert Morgan,
Norman Leslie Remnant,
Harry Bond Richards,
William Salisbury Roberts, and
John Albert Sylva

to be the Himatangi Beach Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Barling’s Store, Himatangi Beach as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—HIMATANGI BEACH DOMAIN

ALL that area situated in Block III, Sandy Survey District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Lots 30, 40 and 71, on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 13009 (Town of Himatangi Beach), being also part Manawatu Allocation Block No. 1, and being also part of the land comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Volume 505, folio 210, and Volume 506, folio 134 (Wellington Registry).

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Town of Kaikoura, Marlborough Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of November, 1949

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for a site for a literary institute :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a literary institute to a reserve for recreation purposes.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 6·6 perches, more or less, situated in Block XI, Mount Fyffe Survey District, and being part Section 414, Town of Kaikoura. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/312F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for purposes in connection with the Waitohi Stream-diversion :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for site for a public gaol :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for purposes in connection with the Waitohi Stream-diversion to a reserve for a site for a public gaol.

• Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Egmont County Council *

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of November, 1949

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a site for county buildings, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Egmont :

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Egmont County Council has duly consented to such cancellation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Egmont of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Kiwitea County Council has duly consented to such cancellation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Kiwitea County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
