A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes (Postmaster’s residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 25·5 perches. Being part Suburban Section 24, Town of Napier, and being also Lot 4, D.P. 6155, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, H.B. Volume 47, folio 4 (Hawke’s Bay Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of November, 1949.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 1 perch. Being Section 13 of the Horowhenua Village Settlement, and being also all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 89, folio 140 (Wellington Land Registry). Situated in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District.
