Revoking in Part a Proclamation Taking Additional Land at Washdyke for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway (Washdyke–Fairlie Branch)

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year at page 720, taking additional land at Washdyke for the purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway (Washdyke–Fairlie Branch), as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 3 roods 36·7 perches.
Being part Railway land in Proclamation 303915, being part Lot 16, D.P. 578, and being also part R.S. 8331.
Situated in Block VIII, Arowhenua Survey District, Levels County. (S.O. 8155.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10096, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1949.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a railway in Block XV, Akatarawa Survey District, Blocks III and IV, Rimutaka Survey District, and Blocks I, II, and III, Wairarapa Survey District—viz., a portion of the Wellington–Napier, via Woodville, Railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation)—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

COMMENCING at a point marked 4 miles 32·86 chains on the plan marked P.W.D. 129200, hereinafter referred to, in the State Forest Reserve No. 32 (S.O. All in the Wellington Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129200, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for workers’ dwellings, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Morrinsville as from the date hereinafter mentioned, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
