Land at Rotorua Taken for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
Railway purposes.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 6·86 perches.
Being part Section 6, Block XXXV, Town of Rotorua.

Situated in Block I, Tarawera Survey District, Borough of
Rotorua. (S.O. 34430.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10080, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1949.

Additional Land and an Easement Over Land at Ward Taken for
the Purposes of the Picton–Hurunui Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes of the Picton–Hurunui Railway; and I do also
hereby proclaim and declare that a water-pipe line easement is
hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right,
licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, main-
tain, and use a water-pipe line in, under, and over the land in the
said Second Schedule, with the right for His Majesty’s servants,
agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter
to go, pass, and repass over the land in the said Second Schedule,
to inspect, maintain, repair, or renew the said water-pipe line.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken : 7·2 perches.
Being part Section 4, Block XIII, Town of Ward (Flaxbourne
Settlement); coloured orange.

Situated in Block IX, Cape Campbell Survey District, Awatere
County. (S.O. 896.)

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which the easement
is taken : 14·8 perches.
Being part Section 4, Block XIII, Town of Ward (Flaxbourne
Settlement); coloured sepia.

Situated in Block IX, Cape Campbell Survey District, Awatere
County. (S.O. 896.)

All in the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10095, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1949.

Wellington–Foxton Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of the Wellington–Foxton Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the additional piece of land taken : 2·2 perches.
Being part D.P. 12968, being part Taupo No. 1 Block.

Situated in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt
County. (S.O. 21932.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10081, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1949.
