PURSUANT to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1948, and section one hundred and twenty-
five of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize
the Howick Town Board to permit the laying-off of the proposed
streets described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of their
lengths of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty feet,
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on any part of the land shown edged green
on the plan referred to in the said Schedule fronting those portions
of the said streets, of a width less than sixty-six feet within a
distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-lines of such portions
of the said streets.

Those proposed streets in the North Auckland Land District,
Town District of Howick, containing by admeasurement 3 acres,
2 roods 15 perches, more or less, being part Allotments 68 and 69,

Notice of Intention to Issue an Order in Council Revoking the
Reservation Over Portions of the Hamilton Domain, South
Auckland Land District

WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act), it is provided that the Governor-General
may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance
with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said
Act declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part
thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and,
further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve
for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available
for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1948:
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
portions of the Hamilton Domain but are not required for domain
purposes, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the
said lands:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven
of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council
under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring
that the portions of the Hamilton Domain described in the Schedule
hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall
be deemed to be Crown lands available for disposal by way of sale
for cash under the Land Act, 1948.
