Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Mount Albert Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Mount Albert Domain Board.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Borough of Mount Albert situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 5 perches, more or less, being Lot 26 as shown on the plan numbered 22629, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part Allotment 171 of Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/389c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. 31103.)

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/392E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in Southland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Riverton Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Riverton Domain Board.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of October, 1949

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS by section one hundred and seventy-eight of the Land Act, 1948, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Land Settlement Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become Crown land subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1948 :
And whereas the Land Settlement Board has recommended that the portion of the Hohoura Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and seventy-eight of the Land Act, 1948, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Hohoura Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
