Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Hauturu Township, South Auckland Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of October, 1949
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for public buildings of the General Government: And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for county purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for public buildings of the General Government to a reserve for county purposes.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto are reserves duly set apart for public utility purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such lands shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from reserves for public utility purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Naumai Public Hall Society (Incorporated)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of October, 1949
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a site for a public hall and is vested in the Naumai Public Hall Society (Incorporated):
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Naumai Public Hall Society (Incorporated) has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Naumai Public Hall Society (Incorporated) of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Eltham County Council

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of October, 1949

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a site for a roadman’s cottage:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eltham:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eltham, in trust, for a site for a roadman’s cottage.

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, in trust, for public utility purposes.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings:
And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Northern Hawkes Bay Rabbit Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Northern Hawkes Bay Rabbit Board.
