A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 28·6 perches.
Being part Section 11.

Situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34192.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129321, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of October, 1949.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes, subject as to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, to the interests reserved by Memorandum of Transfer registered in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 14739 and comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 32, folio 7, of the said Registry Office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood 32 perches.
Being Allotment 9c, Pepepe Parish; coloured blue.

Situated in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34206.)

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken, subject to certain interests:—

Situated in the City of Auckland, being Lot 34, D.P. 15528, portion of Allotment 17, Parish of Titirangi, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 804, folio 273 (Auckland Registry).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 29·9 perches. Being Lot 3, D.P. 8988, being portion of Allotment 181, Parish of Kirikiriroa, and Lots 5 and 6, D.P. 8988, being portions of Allotments 181 and 212, Parish of Kirikiriroa, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 355, folio 227 (Auckland Land Registry).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto now held for better utilization is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 8 acres 0 roods 3·59 perches.
Being part Section 56, Hutt District.

Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District (City of Lower Hutt). (S.O. 21482.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125798, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 55 acres 3 roods. Being part of Section 188, Hutt District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 23, folio 46 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of October, 1949.
