ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Counties Act, 1920, and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of six thousand one hundred and fifty pounds (£6,150), authorized to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting thereon three dwellinghouses, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-thirty second of a penny (½d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Rotorua, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until such loan is fully paid off."
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rotorua was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Rotorua County Council in the presence of—

GISBORNE TIRE RETREADERS, LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution and Meeting of Creditors NOTICE is hereby given that Gisborne Tire Retreaders, Limited, has resolved as a special resolution passed by entry in its minute-book under section 300 (1) of the Companies Act, 1933, on the 7th day of October, 1949, that the company be wound up voluntarily as a creditors' voluntary winding-up, and that a meeting of creditors of the company will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, the 17th day of October, 1949, at the office of Messrs. Bull and Edwards, Public Accountants, Gladstone Road, Gisborne, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of creditors of the company and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and, in pursuance of section 236, may appoint a committee of inspection.

OAMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Oamaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and other charges on a loan of thirteen thousand three hundred pounds (£13,300), authorized to be raised by the Oamaru Borough Council and called the Conversion Loan Repayment Loan 1950, of £13,300, the Oamaru Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and forty-six one-thousandths of a penny (0·146d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Oamaru, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year until the last maturity date of the debentures securing the said loan, being the 1st day of January, 1955, or until all such debentures are fully paid off."
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Oamaru, was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Oamaru Borough Council in the presence of—

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
TAKE notice that the partnership heretofore subsisting between LESLIE JOHN TREMLETT, of Mamaku, Joiner, and GEORGE WILLIAM EDLIN of Mamaku, Joiner, carrying on business under the style or firm name of "Edlin and Tremlett" has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 3rd day of October, 1949. The business will be carried on by the said LESLIE JOHN TREMLETT to whom all accounts owing by the partnership should be rendered and to whom all accounts owing to the partnership should be paid.
