Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Auckland-Kumeu
Motor-way in Block XV, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section four of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a motor-way desired to be constructed over Block XV, Waitemata Survey District—viz., a portion of the Auckland-Kumeu motor-way—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 130003 (Sheet 1), referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Commencing at a point on the Great North Road near the southern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 23234, being part Allotments 18A and 188, Parish of Titirangi, and proceeding thence in a westerly and north-westerly direction generally for approximately 2 miles 56 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz.: Lot 4, D.P. 23234, being part Allotments 18A and 188; Lot 3, D.P. 23234, being part Allotments 18A and 188, and Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 23234, being parts Allotment 18A; part Lot C, D.P. 348, being part Allotment 19; part Allotment 19, D.P. 23806; part Allotment 19, D.P. 14590; part Allotment 18, being part land on D.P. 8380; Auckland Harbour; Allotment 182; Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 16251, being parts Allotment 2; Lots 15, 12, and 1, D.P. 20251, being parts Allotment 2; and Allotment 1, Parish of Titirangi; and terminating at a point on the north-western boundary of the said Allotment 1, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130003 (Sheet 1), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1949.

Commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of Allotment 1, Parish of Titirangi, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 74 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz.: Whau River (Auckland Harbour); Lot 1, D.P. 29473, being part Allotment 20; part Lot 17, D.P. 1267, Lot 18, D.P. 1267, Lot 2, D.P. 34436, Lot 1, D.P. 34436, Lot 20, D.P. 1267, Lot 1, D.P. 31697, and land on D.P. 19238, being parts Allotment 8A; Henderson Creek; part Allotment 6; part Allotment 6 on D.P. 27417; Lot 2, D.P. 22776, and Lot 1, D.P. 22776, being parts Allotment 6; Parish of Waipareira; and terminating at a point on the Auckland-Helensville Main Highway No. 6 on the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 22776, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130003 (Sheet 2), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Authorizing the Inglewood Borough Council to Maintain and Use Electric Lines Within the County of Inglewood

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of October, 1949
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth, subject to the conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, hereby authorize the Inglewood Borough Council (hereinafter with its successors and assigns referred to as the licensee) to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE

Implied Conditions
The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof. -
Licence Subject to Regulations
In respect of the lines hereby authorized, the licensee shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with any regulations made or to be made in amendment or amplification thereof or in substitution therefor. -
System of Supply
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (d) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. -
Duration of Licence
This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 4th day of December, 1958.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Lines adapted for the distribution of electrical energy by the systems of supply hereinbefore described leading from the boundary of the Borough of Inglewood as follows:—(a) To two dwellings and the licensee’s quarry all situated in Section 179;(b) To a dwelling and cow-shed situated in Sections 99 and 100;
All being situated in Block IV, Egmont Survey District, in the County of Inglewood, the said lines being more particularly delineated by means of green lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 77, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize Leslie Robert Bolton, of Mansion House Bay, Kawau Island, Storekeeper, (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

The system of supply shall be classified under paragraph (j) of Clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be a direct-current system with a generating voltage and distribution voltage of 110 volts.
