Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Mount Roskill, in trust, for access purposes.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Mount Roskill Borough situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 32·04 perches, more or less, being Lot 16 as shown on a plan numbered 16263, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being part Allotment 54, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2733, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in the South Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of October, 1949 Present : HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the South Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Karapiro Lake Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

Recreation Reserves in North Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of October, 1949 Present : HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter form parts of the Motutara Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Motutara Domain Board.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for gravel purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for gravel purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested, in trust, in the Pahiatua County Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pahiatua County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Pahiatua County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
