Helensville - South Head Rural Fire District
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, containing approximately 70,000 acres, situated in Blocks VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII, Okaka Survey District, Blocks I, II, III, IV, V, and VI, Waioneke Survey District, Blocks I, IV, V, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIII, and XIV, Kaipara Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at a point, in Block XII, Kaipara Survey District, on the foreshore at the north-western corner of portion of Te Heke Block (taken for sand-dune-reclamation purposes by Gazette 1936, page 1374); thence towards the south-west by the shores of the Tasman Sea; towards the north by the southern shores of the Kaipara Entrance; towards the north-east by the shores of the Kaipara Harbour and the left bank of the Kaipara River to the southernmost corner of Lot 4 on L.T. plan 371; and towards the south generally by the north-eastern side of a public road, the crossing of the Auckland-Helensville State Highway, by the northern side of a public road, and by portion of the Te Heke Block aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 16/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £2,250 by the Manawatu Catchment Board and Prescribing the Conditions Thereof

At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of September, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Manawatu Catchment Board (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section thirty of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, to borrow the sum of two thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£2,250), by a loan to be known as “Building Loan, 1949” (hereinafter called the said loan) for the purpose of purchasing land, erecting a workshop, providing for roads and ramps, and making alterations to fences:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of two thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£2,250), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall be eight (8) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Waipawa Borough Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways Amendment Act, 1928, to borrow the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250) by a loan to be known as “Main Highways Bridge Loan, 1949” (hereinafter called the said loan) for the purpose of providing the Council’s share of the cost of replacing a bridge on the Waipawa-Tikokino Main Highway:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:—

Varying the Determinations in Respect of the Waimea County Council’s Loan of £6,000

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine (hereinafter called the said Order in Council), and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the Waimea County Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) of a loan of six thousand pounds (£6,000) to be known as “Workers’ Dwelling Loan, 1949” (hereinafter called the said loan):
And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council has not yet been exercised and it is expedient to vary certain of the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary certain of the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan by prescribing that in lieu of provision being made for the repayment of the said loan by the establishment of a sinking fund in respect thereof, as specified in clause three of the said Order in Council, the said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term of twenty-five (25) years as specified in clause one of the said Order in Council.
