A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section one hundred and forty-nine of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule
hereto, such road being no longer required.

Amending an Order in Council Appointing Five Non-elective Members
of the Hawkes Bay Catchment Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
October, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act,
1941, and section seven of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doeth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the third day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, and published
in the Gazette of the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-nine, at page 1625, appointing five non-elective members
of the Hawkes Bay Catchment Board by deleting
Senior Forest Ranger, State Forest Service, Palmerston North,
and substituting
Forest Ranger, State Forest Service, Napier.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Dudley Street in the City of Lower Hutt

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
October, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Lower
Hutt City Council to lay-off the proposed street described in the
Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than
sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty-two feet.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street (Dudley Street) in the Wellington Land
District, City of Lower Hutt, containing by admeasurement
1 rood 36-13 perches, more or less, being Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10,
11, and 12, D.P. 13901, Lot 1, D.P. 11317, and Lot 1, D.P. 13479,
and being part Section 28, Hutt District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129303, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Lower
Hutt City Council to lay-off the proposed street described in the
Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than
sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of
Lower Hutt, being an extension of Myrtle Street, containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 0-8 perches, more or less, beingβ€”First, that
area of 22-2 perches, being part Lot 2, D.P. 10789, being part
Section 21, Hutt District, shown coloured orange on the plan marked
P.W.D. 129878, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington; secondly, that area of 18-6 perches, being part Lot 1,
D.P. 12061, being part Section 21, Hutt District, shown coloured
sepia on the said plan marked P.W.D. 129878.

advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doeth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto
being taken for better utilization.
