SCHEDULE
Lower Hutt - Wainui-o-mata.--All that road or portion of road
in the Hutt County, commencing at the south-eastern boundary
of the City of Lower Hutt and proceeding thence generally in a
south-easterly direction, and terminating in Wainui-o-mata Township at the junction of Burdan Avenue and Hine Road, being a
distance of 3 miles 16 chains, more or less; as the same is more
particularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 129691, deposited
in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon
coloured green.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
August, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency, the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby licence and permit the Akaroa
Progress Association (Incorporated), of Akaroa (hereinafter called
the licensee, which term shall include its successors and assigns
unless the context requires a different construction), to use and
occupy that part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark
in Akaroa Harbour shown on plan marked M.D. 3089, and deposited
in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose
of erecting and maintaining a slipway thereon, such licence to be
held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and
conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- THIS licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations
1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable,
apply thereto. - The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the
23rd day of August, 1949. - The annual sum so payable to the Hon. the Minister of Marine
by the licensee shall be one shilling (ls.), payable on demand.

PURSUANT to section five of the Maori Purposes Act, 1937, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart
and reserve the Maori freehold lands described in the first column
of the Schedule hereto for the common use of the Maori inhabitants
of Rapaki for the respective purposes set out in the second column
of the said Schedule.

doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council made on the fifteenth
day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, and published
in the Gazette on the twenty-third of May, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-six, at page 703, and affecting Rapaki Maori Reserve 875,
Section 37, and other sections.
