LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES

APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a certificate of title in the name of CARL JOSEPH HUGH BAKER, of Haumoana, Orchardist, for 1 acre 9·2 perches, more or less, being Lots 12 and 39 on Deeds Plan 914 (Haumoana Township), which said parcels of land comprise parts of Suburban Sections 104 and 105, Clive, and being balance of the land in certificate of title, H.B. Vol. 111, folio 124, subject as to Lot 39, Deeds Plan 914, to the fencing covenant contained in Transfer 75729, and having appurtenant to Lot 12 water rights over Lot 11, Deeds Plan 914, reserved in and by Transfer 65580, and to Lots 12 and 39 water rights over Lot 10, Deeds Plan 914, granted in and by Transfer 75728, and evidence having been lodged of the loss or destruction of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue the new certificate of title as requested after fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

PUBLIC NOTICE

THE COAL ACT, 1948

PUBLIC notice is given that, by virtue of the provisions of the Coal Act, 1948, and the regulations thereunder, returns in the forms prescribed by the said regulations are required to be furnished to the Coal Valuation Commission on or before the 15th August, 1949, by—

(1) Every person by whom any amount was receivable by way of royalty or rent in respect of any privately owned coal or servitude in any of the seven years 1941 to 1947;

(2) Every person who extracted any privately owned coal in any of the seven years 1941 to 1947 without any royalty or rent being payable in respect thereof; and

(3) Every person who, being the owner of any privately owned land, permitted the exercise in any of the seven years 1941 to 1947 of the benefit of any servitude adversely affecting that land without any royalty or rent being payable in respect thereof.

Forms of returns may be obtained at the office of the Coal Valuation Commission, 7–9 Lower Taranaki Street, Wellington; the offices of the Inspectors of Mines at Huntly, Greymouth, and Dunedin; the offices of the New Zealand State Coal Mines at Auckland, Christchurch, and Invercargill; and the Courthouse at Whangarei.

I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Rahiri Women’s and Children’s Convalescent Home (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

TAKE notice that the partnership heretofore existing between ALFRED CLEMENT RELPH, JOHN ERIC RELPH, and GRIGG HERBERT RELPH, all of Rotorua, Logging Contractors, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of March, 1949. The business formerly carried on by the partnership at Rotorua will continue to be carried on by ALFRED CLEMENT RELPH at the same address.
