The Town of Frankton is situated 4 miles from Queenstown post-office and school by a good all-weather metalled road.

All the sections have a slight westerly aspect and look on to Frankton arm of Lake Wakatipu. They are good building sites; Sections 3, 4, 6, 7, Block IV, and Sections 4 and 8, Block V, being flat to gently sloping, all the other sections are level. Soil is very light stony schist resting on gravel formation and sections are at present covered in St. Johns wart.

Elevation 1,125 ft. to 1,140 ft.

Preference will be given to applicants who produce conclusive evidence of their intention to build, immediately following their securing a section, a residence in which they will permanently reside.

Any further particulars required may be obtained from the undersigned.

W. T. SPELMAN, Commissioner of Crown Lands.
